RibRoy,
try here: from post#33 and beyond http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...=879123&page=3

or here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=860034

Top light is a Baja Designs squadron in the spot configuration, second light down is another squadron, but in the wide driving version. This light is my all the time light and is dimmed at 40% via a skene designs dimmer. The light goes to 100% and the other lights all come on when I hit the Hi-beam switch. Third light down is the Baja Designs onx in the spot configuration. These three lights are plenty sufficient for most peoples needs imho.
I also have two of the Sanjoh model 60 lights mounted one per side for lighting the close-up edges of my light beams forward illumination. These lights add additional help for my failing vision when the night rides pace hits warp drive. Probably not necessary if you don't do fast off road at night.
(Sanjoh is an inmate here with a thread in vendors.)

Though a number of the earliest posts photo's have become red x's over the years... there are still a few of them floating about the place here and in OC... like the one's above (from this thread) from the 2008 Swedish 4 day Enduro (I rode the beauty in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 4 days).

As Brent said, it is not a Raid Designs kit (David P and co. was inspired by my bike... but their kit come out some two or so years later - my bike was involved at all the nav rallies in Sweden since sept. 2006)... it is all KTM org. parts from the 950 Adventure, save for the headstock bracket/clamp (to mount the tubular aluminium cockpit/fariring subframe from) and the Black Dog Cycleworks rear side auxilliary fuel tank (on left rear) that TWA (current owner) subsequently mounted in 2011...

I got to have a reunion ride on my old flame at last weekends 2013 Siljan Long Run - an 800 km 2 day navigational rally tour of the Dalarna region in central Sweden that my mates TWA and mekano-son (Raid Designs/RRUK kitted 690 pictured in background).

It was awesome to ride her again... and with just over 80,000 km's on herr now; the bike has always religiously maintained and is a pleasure to ride - better than new - so all you that have one, treasure them - the last of the great V8 offroad interceptors - there IS NOTHING better.
Well, I guess I'm guilty as charged, but not for lack of paying attention. I arrived late to the game (2009). Obviously my search-foo sucks arse, believe me when I say I have tried to find previous SE fairing builds. Your recent post was the first time I had seen that great looking bike. I have followed Raid Designs since his first post, in fact I nearly pulled the trigger on purchasing his slick kit. Anyhow, nice job on that sweet SE that you should have kept!!

Way to funny, Bill takes a lot of pictures. If he would have seen you in the bushes he would of been snap, snap, snap.

ive put them the right way - but i reckon the plastic shield now gets in the way of the perfect off side (RHS) mirror rear vision position? anyone else had this issue? might swap them back or cut them down a bit...
