Nice setting

Ours with our Kolour Koordinated KTM Doite tent (by accident)

Bush camping in Chile.

Our SE looking like a scrap heap next to yours

Should have clarified about having a safari tank. Below is an email I received from Crispy.

"Thanks for your message. Unfortunately it's very troublesome getting decals to stay on the Safari tanks. They leach fumes which make the decals bubble then eventually fall off.

Sorry I can't help you out with some decals.

Cheers

Christian"

Just trying to share my experience so others won't waste time pursuing this.

The OEM plastics fit the Safari tank tho, safe enough to put the decals on the orange screw on section providing they are put on properly

I couldn't have guessed, but I'm not surprised. It is a familiar view. I'm probably headed that way on Saturday. Most likely on my 690. I've got some fueling issues to sort out on the 950 at the moment. Gotta be an orange ride, though!

Do you have any experience heading east from there in the dirt? I was trying to make my way to Lake Nacimiento but due to fuel capacity decided to head down to hwy1.

ONLY bag to Have for tall guys that stand a lot

I LOVE the SM (discontinued) tank bag on the SE
I run one too & searched for months to find a leftover bag, to have as a spare since their are no more

FYI - u can cut plastic pieces to replace the broken or cracked ones for the sides & top - to keep its shape & stiffen the bag up

I don't know of a way around Hunter-Liggett. The Army tends to frown on travel through the base on other than authorized routes.
