Special Motorcycle routes calculation software

Dutch company Waypoint, are release software that will calculate routes. But in contrast with other route calculation software, this oe is made for motorcycles, and will find routes that has the most curves, or the most scenic, etc.

The routes can be visualized in Google Earth and then exported in Garmin or TomTom format.....

That would be so cool

I have spent years learning how to tweak Mapsource into starting with the best base to manually tune for motorcycle routes. Any idea when?

What it doesn't say (I'll find out when I'm back home), is what the basis of the maps is. If it works on existing maps, or does it need special ones ?

If it works on existing maps, that'd mean you could use it anywhere in the world where there are electronic maps.

I was sort of assuming Google Earth or Google Maps. It would be the common denominator for everyone and then deal separately with export to the GPS formats.

Demo looks like the right idea, I know a little Danish so I was able to figure out a some of the presentation, but unclear if it's coming with it's own database or not. I hope they use GE or GM just so it's a world wide thing.

Just had an email exhcange with them. It's their own datbase, and does not yet cover USA or Asia, just Europe. The maps are based on navteq, but enriched with scenic info.
