Another from the same trip...

A little off road excursion for some back country camping in the Yukon on the same trip (coming back from AK)... I would had a picture with the tent setup, but as soon as I got my stuff in the tent, it started pouring rain... I decided to stay dry...

Well, that means one of two things: Either you have very large balls, or a very small brain.

Did you know that somewhere out there in the antelope refuge is a spot that is the farthest from any Interstate highway in the lower 48 states? Not sure of the exact long. & lat. But some day I'm going to ride out there and just sit and enjoy the idea.

That sounds like a good spot for an ADVrider rally

Maybe a little of both

I left GP around 2pm, planned on camping for the night just outside of Plush, but that's when I discovered I forgot the skeeter repellant!

Sun went down as I headed up the mountain. Don't know how I found my way, having never been through there before. I musta ran over 50 suicidal bunnies that night. Found Wach's gang at the Alvord 'round midnite

High (??!!) in West Virginia

On a long ride through some of the great backroads of WV, a local invited us up to the top of one of his fields; could see all 48 of the power-generating windmills along the ridge in the background.

They're barely visible through the haze--rained like crazy about two hours later.

Another view of the windmill farm.

A fun little "backroad" in WV. Didn't see any Harley's here . . . .
