Here's my meager contribution...

Taken about 5 miles back, mostly gravel and hard pack to get there. A few sections of blow sand that were pretty scary when I was down here last year. This time I aired down the nearly worn out BattleWings down to 20 and 25 psi f-r and it made a huge difference. No drops and only a few foot dabs to get here.

The way home was another story, I took the direct route out and went through 10 mostly dry mud holes. When full they are nearly 2.5 feet deep of water with a clay like bottom. This time of year they are more like pudding and maybe 3 bike lengths long with 1 foot deep ruts where the quads go through. I ended up walking along side slipping the clutch letting the bike pull itself along the high and somewhat dry edges. One of them the tire just balled up and was spinning. Was a bit nerve wracking since I had no one to call to bail me out and ATV riding is technically illegal so I saw no one all day. I ended up taking a go around through the trees on one hole that didn't have a dry spot, it was all torn up snot from the last guys through.

None of the above looked like much so no pictures but I've been through before on my KLX and Sportsman 500 so I'm familiar with the sloppy traits of that trail. I ended up doing 15 miles or so of dirt and gravel, good times, I miss my thumper though for riding back there.

You've taken that Wee places that most people wouldn't even take a dirt bike. When I grow up I want to be just like you.

No kidding, maybe next year I could talk you into going back out and letting me tag along.

Hey buddy!

I wasn't trying to "one up you"

..just thinking that you wouldn't have had any trouble with those passes had they been open!

In fact, one of the guys at RMAR crossed Engineer on a ninja! Yes, a stock sportbike with all it's fairings!!

...there's the Ninja on the far right atop Cinnamon...

...and again on Engineer...

...all the way around the Alpine Loop. How hard can it be?

Punta Gorda, CA My long travel DL650 on a 900 mile 4 day trip with my nephew, his first ride and camp trip. He now wants to never have a car and just ride. I guess the trip was a success.

Cool sidecar!

I think that sidecar is sweet. Can ya tell me about it. How easy does it come off? I think that might be what I need to get so I don't have to stop riding when winter comes.

I bought my Wee a few months ago and finally had a chance to take her offroad last weekend. I was with Grape Ape on his 1200GS- he's 6'7" and makes his GS look like a pit bike.

Hi wingnut, only had the beastie on the road for a week so I'm still fiddling with it.

The guy who made it for me set it up so you just undo 4 bolts (and 1 electrical plug) and the chair is off. Obviously the sub frame remains but that wouldn't interfere with riding it as a solo.

The Strom is a perfect engine for outfits. Highly recommended

Random pics, various places in Greece. I know it's not real off-roading but, hey, I'm trying, ok?
