So was I , No brakes, no throttle, just go with it. There was an inch off slimy basalt mud on the road in parts that were treacherous. Would have been fun on the DR. Steve

Strominator, I would use aluminum reinforce had guards such as barkbusters. Those plastic ones just rip off and don't provide much crash protection. I had those on my Ulysses and they paid for themselves.

+1, went through 2 clutch-levers before going with Barkbusters, no problem since. Nice lookin ride.

Ive dropped mine in the mud and hard surface several times, and the stock guards have helped. Never broke anything, but they pretty stressed. I'm planning to replace with balusters in the near future.

And yes. Nice looking bike. I might suggest looking at cypress graphics for some sticker ideas. I favor the shark.
