I'm not going to read all 5 pages of this but in case it hasn't been mentioned:

Meat Loaf: Bat out of hell.

-edit: Oh, hell. It's right above here. That's what I get for only reading the first 2 pages..

Motorcycle Cowboy by Merle Haggard

It's country, and it's Harley, but it's still a fun song.

Some others I found in my iTunes music collection that may be of interest...

Arlo Guthrie, The Motorcycle Song

Remy Zero, Motorcycle

DJ Tiesto, Motorcycle – As The Rush Comes

War, Lowrider

Traffic, Freedom Rider

The Allman Brothers, Midnight Rider

The Doors, Riders On the Storm

Foghat, Slow Ride

haha...yeah I was just gonna post that tune with the caveot that I haven't read the entire thread......

only thing with that tune is it's more about Los Angeles and how she uses her bike to try to escape L.A., but the best line is:

"up Mulholland where I made the scene, like the one that took little Jimmy Dean"

pop culture cred for canyon strafers, baby!

Here's a recent lyric

From Mark Knophler and Emmy Lou Harris;

Red Staggerwing:
If i was a motorcycle
A vincent red rapide
I'd ride around to your house, baby
Get you up to speed

If i was short track racer
I'd be an indian
You could ride me around
And ride me round again

You're gonna need a rider anyhow
Let me be your rider now
You're gonna need a rider anyhow
Let me be your rider now

Cheers!

Motorcycle song? How about a motorcycle hymn?

Just A closer RIDE with thee ( tune of...just a closer WALK with thee)

Just a closer ride with thee,
Oh,sweet Jesus,grant my plea.
Daily riding sets us free.
Oh,sweet Jesus, hear my plea.

Thru life's troubles,ruts and woes,
My sport cycle easily goes.
12" forks smooth out the ditch.
Knobby tires we can switch.

When the priest is sermonizing me
From this pew my mind does flee.
What bike does our savior ride?
That is the thought I cannot hide.

Is it Honda, Suz or Kaw?
What bike are you riding now?
What bike takes you to the stars?
Way past Mercury,Pluto,Mars.

You say you ride the Celestial Bike
and I can ride it if I like
Someday you'll send for me to take
the celestial bike to the Pearly gate.

For THAT ride, dear Lord, I'd rather...wait!
