I got up early and scanned this whole thread. You guys have missed a few!
"Pied Piper" by Jethro Tull "Speeding Motorcycle" by Daniel Johnston (the Yo La Tengo version is much easier to listen to) I'm sure I'll think of more, but I haven't had coffee yet. |

One of the obvious that hasn't been listed:
Bad Motor Scooter - Montrose (Sammy Hagar singing) Other great but more obscure songs: 1952 Vincent Black Lightning Richard Thompson Can't Complain Todd Snyder - discusses his inability to come up with the money to "Let Freedom Ring" - and old reference to a Harley ad Titties and Beer - Frank Zappa (blow it out your ass motorcycle man) |

This Travellin' Round
A song by Lyle Lovett... Mournful song that fit my life down to a "T" at one time. Anyone who's looked to moto trips for healing... Lyrics aren't much, but together with the music and his delivery... brilliant.
"that 999 is so fast you can not see" is the moto reference. It gets listed as lyrics of "Na na na is so fast" .... but that clearly makes no sense. And as Lyle is a rider and owned a Duc dealership, I've got to think that it's 999.

Maybe a stretch, but I think the ol' school hard core guys would approve..
"Green Grass and High Tides" by the Outlaws... Listing to it right now, so good,, makes me wanna throw on some chaps and ride off with my sheit lashed to the sissy bar!
