monongahela national forest

It started to rain on our trip last month so we just pulled off into this pavilon and slept under the picnic tables. this was in monongahela national forest in WV, hardly anyone on the road here and great twisties.

The night prior to this mornings picture we were in an earthquake. Some of you might have heard the 6.3 just SW of Mexico City? We were right smack dab on top of it. First (of three) earthquakes I was in on this ride. Amazing. Never experienced them before but I actually really liked it being safe in an open field.



Camping in gravel pit WAY back in the Sierra Mountains between Zacatecas and San Blas.
