depends; photo quality no match from my side, cold - yes

Well it was last night as it was about 70* as we were sitting around the fire. We woke up to a skif of snow then it unloaded. Cumberland Pass in October.

On the sunny side of the season; How about Death Valley, on Wildrose Rd camping at Wildrose camp and Kilns just west of Furnace Creek. Bright, SUNNY and 82degrees

Some friends and I made a trip to Nova Scotia last year from Atlanta. We left at 6:30 am. and was in upstate Conn. around 1:00 am late that night. Had planned on finding a cheep room or camp the whole trip. This trip started on the July 4th weekend. When we stopped , there was nowhere to be found to stay . All the rooms in the area were booked and no camp ground anywhere close. We found a day use area accross the street from a state patrol station. Should be safe as long as the cops don`t give us a hard time. Slept in a pavilion for 4 or 5 hours. Ready for another day on the road. We did a little over 1000 miles the first day and about 700 the second. Then slowed down and had a awesome trip. Can`t wait to go back.
