What kind of engine bars are those? I have been looking for some that will work with my Arrow two-into-ones, but so far no luck. Tried Renntecs and they didn't fit, although they were pretty, and stock Triumph engine bars won't work. I saw a set of bars like the ones in your pic on Miss Madeleine's bike (she just rode it to Panama and back to New England) and they look like they will work so I asked her, but she had no idea-they were on the bike when she bought it. Also checked at Barber Vintage Festival folks at the Triumph tent and they though maybe British Customs, but they have nothing like them either.

Thanks,

Mike

I believe mine are Hepko Beckers from New Bonneville.

Pricey but they protect the important bits, and make for a good place to mount a camera.

Those look like they will work. The Arrows pass behind the frame down tubes so those bars should not interfere with anything.

Thanks!

Mike

Here are a few pics of my wonderful Bonneville T100, Bearshark.

At the southernmost monument in Key West, Florida.

In the California redwoods.

At Cape Flattery on Washington's Olympic Peninsula.

On the coast of Maine at Acadia National Park.

And for people who don't like the corners, here's Bearshark at the geographic center of North America.

Bearshark the Bonneville T100 hauls two of us and all our camping gear to wherever we've found the time to go. This is a very good motorcycle.

Regards, Chuck

Awsome Chuck. How many miles for the trip? And did you do a ride report?

And if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for those Metal Mules? I was looking them but my boxes were like 300 bucks off when I got them, so I couldn't resist.

The pictures were all taken this year, but not on the same trip. The Key West picture was taken in May and the rest on an 11426 mile, two-up, 30 nights of camping trip that began at the end of July and finished in September. No real ride report, but Bearshark has a blog and he writes about trips and what ever else comes into his ECU. Bearshark has been into or through 45 states and one Canadian provence. We live in North Carolina.

Delivered, the Metal Mules were about $1500US. This included racks and about $300 in shipping charges. It is a lot of money, but they are very nice and I'd do it again.

Regards, Chuck

Those look very nice. Can you give us some details on the cases?

Cheers,

Mike
