Riding along lakes, rivers and seas
Good scenery only gets great when there is water involved. Waterfalls make a river impressive, lakes give a valley that special something - and riding in one direction for days on end only to end up at an ocean is one the many great feelings of accomplishment you get while riding.
I didn't find any thread here that covers the pictures I would like to share and see, so I thought I'd start a new one. My ride to town from our farm in west-central Virginia:
 Same creek, eroding through some cool geologic structures (I'm a geologsit so this is extra cool to me):  Same creek, same ride as above:  Groundwater seeping out of the rocks on a cold day makes cool ice falls:  From back when I lived in Wyoming, Upper Green River Lakes, one of the prettiest places I know:   One more, Waterton - Glacier park, rode there with my son several years ago. We took LOTS of "water" pictures in Alberta and BC, what a glorious place:  Doug
