On the left it's one of the best Greek salads that I had. On the right is what they call Tzatziki.. It is yogurt, cucumber, garlic and some salt mixed together. Served cold and tasted perfect. The place is Mithi/Chios.

That is aubergene salad, I have no idea what they put in it except aubergine but it tastes fantastic.

This is intestines being cooked on the grill I hadn't had the chance to eat it this time in Chios but I know it would taste very good. See the ADV stickers??

And finally Ouzo Of course the bike was parked at the hotel

It's called ''kokoretsi'' and it tastes delicious...You should try it, it's a traditional food, but before you do, you must know the ingredients...It consists sweetbreads, hearts, lungs, kidneys all wrapped up with seasoned offal. The intestines of suckling lambs are preferred.

Hi Jo.Da.
Thanks for the explanation, I never knew it had so many ingredients in it. WOW! I've eaten it once but a long time ago. They also make it in Turkey.

This is called Kokoretsi ..... it is the organs of a lamb or goat (liver, kidneys, heart) cut in pieces and put on skewer and then the goat or lambs intestines after been cleaned thoroughly is wrapped around the organs and cooked over coals. ITS DELICIOUS !!!!!

And unfortunatelly I couldn't find Bapbatianni for I told that it was Mytilini's speacial ouzo
