Found this little place on the northeast corner of TX 21 and I45 in Madisonville, TX. (Across 21 is Bucky's)

Todays special for $5.99 was the LOADED baked potato......OMG

a vertical shot....

I passed on the 99 cent apple cobbler.....It looked like there was enough to feed three there. Oh and the tea came with the meal. Total $6.24

Now imagine what it's like being a vegetarian on the road in the place where they tend to put meat even in their tea...

For instance, you can ride right into a small local bakery ( town of Starokonstantinov, W. Ukraine ) to find m. probably the tastiest mass-production bread in this country:

...or just stop and help yourself to someone's crops?

OK, OK, I know...but believe me I've done several things worse than stealing a kilo or two of corn in my life...and when I say worse I really mean much much worse, not just reasonably worse...them vegetarians are just anarchist looting scum.

What did you do with that field corn? You can grind it up and make corn meal. The easy part is stealing the corn, the hard part is stealing a grindstone.

Like this, eh?

We had it cooked ( just v. little ) and then grilled with lots of spice...yummy!

We had been heading for a big medival culture festival, so, once there, we had lots of opportunities to make good use of this stolen corn.

A plain and simple breakfast of vanilla yogurt and fresh huckleberries.

Gardiner, MT, just outside the North entrance of Yellowstone, August, 2013.
