A quick trip out one day and happened upon a small local Curry house. The chef shared his extra hot sauce, which was some of the best ever!

The best hot-dog in Norway!

My home town, one can buy the same hot dog as the sold when i was a little boy, 50 years ago.

I wienerwürst with bread, ketchup, mustard and soft, warm onion, topped with a "lompe", a tortilla-like thing but made from potatoes:

Very interesting, never saw this potato topping thing before. Not sure though whether they eat this part of a dog in my home town.

With bread, meat and potatoes, all would seem right in the world of gastronomy. I would love to try that.

A "lighter lunch" and quite common variant would be to just wrap the hotdog in the "lompe" and skip the bread.
