Oh yeah...fish tacos and cold beer except mine were at Terrebonne Depot in Terrebonne, OR.

It was a new, very pleasant discovery over Labor Day.

Almost forgot.

Incredible Prime Rib french dip and ice cold beer at a place on Priest Lake in Idaho.

The view of the lake wasn't bad either.

Yeah I've seen that view many times but I've never seen the lake. Nice stealth photography though...

She was really showing them off and wanted to make sure we saw them. Notice she has her chest pointed at us, not her husband!

Wee, my first post!

I'm a chef/caterer in Austin, TX, so I have lots of food pics, here's a couple

Testing recipes for my food blog

From a restaurant I was doing recipe development for

Cooking for Willie Nelson and family, backstage at the Backyard, Austin, TX

All the pics link to my Flicker account, with lots more pics, notes, etc. Feel free to poke around. Glad I finally "broke my cherry" around here :) No bike yet, Since I'm waiting for the 2009 KLR650's to be available and for my new job to start, but I'll post more pics until then.

More road food

Since none of those pics were actually "road food", here's a few from my last good road trip to West Texas. Took the back roads home through Leakey/Vanderpool/Kerrville, and wound up in Llano, for Cooper's BBQ. Top 5 in the state, which of course means top 5 in the world :).

The pits

The smiling pitmaster, with his wares (you order direct from the pit, then take it inside to weigh and pay)

The meat, pork ribs, beef rib, smoked sirloin, and house recipe sausage

This meal is beagle approved :)

When you get BBQ on a piece of paper, you know you're in Texas and found the good stuff!
