One of the things that I miss by living down here. Nothing like having hot apple pie with a scoop of icecream and hot apple cider on a cool day.

On the other hand, this is breakfast from one of our recent rides to Mazamitla. It's in a little restaurant about halfway to Mazamitla, no name outside but next to a Pemex station.

Porkchop, rice, beans, and chorrizo (Mexican sausage) and eggs. Before they serve the main dish they also gave everyone a plate of papaya with lemon juice and chili pepper.

meatballs & melted cheese. mmmmmh. delicious. I am anxious to get there and have the chef Yasin grill me some...
