Wow. Some amazing shots this year.

I went riding with Bonnie Abbzug, Snowmule, Dysco, and XC700116 yesterday. Magical ride.

I started riding two years ago and each fall I rode over the Denali Highway to view the colors. The first two years I rode solo, camping out at night and riding both directions (the highway is 136 miles long and follows the southern side of the Alaska Range between Cantwell and Paxson). This year I actually rode with other riders and explored some side roads.

Here are some photos from 2008.

Denali is prominent in the background. What an awesome mountain!

Here are some photos from 2009. I had added some nice "farkles" to my bike, including saddlebags, windshield and larger gas tank.

Here's a view of Mt. Foraker and Denali (right) taken this past weekend, past the prime fall foliage season, but still beautiful.

Here's a view of Denali that shows the valleys where we're headed, on the Petersville Road.
