How do I strike text?

I see people putting text with a line through it, like a strikethrough. How do I do that? I want to edit my post but leave the original text there, but struck through.

Use the < s>< /s> commands around the word, like this, removing the spaces, naturally

There are a few of the newer forums, racing, battle scooters and ADV rallies where the HTML code is turtned off; so you can't strike through those.

This will sound obvious, but quote something to see how the HTML treats that function.

Right?

The good thing is, your damn motor can't read. If it says oil on the container, it's pretty much OK to dump in there.... ED.

Hey Baldy, you know that HTML is off in PMs as well, right? I thought it was a PM vs. Forum thing but since it's just a toggle

That one is "strongly not recommended" by the makers of vBulletin because it would make it real easy for someone to put in malicious code to hack the server or other things.
