not a good picture, but was definately the nastiest "good sky gone bad" i;ve ever seen.
the lightning in the base of the cloud was insane.  taken from edgewood NM near my house looking east, storm located near santa rosa NM.

Recently I rode from the West Coast out to Montana and Wyoming. This happened in Bozeman, MT while I was visiting family.
During morning coffee, the sky is black.  We can see the edge of the storm, but I put the bike in the garage.  Yeah, I took a car out that day to help with chores and I was glad, too because then the ground looked like this.  The hail was this big and propelled by 70MPH winds.  It did this to the car, so I was really glad that my bike was in the garage.  After the weather cleared up, I geared up and continued on my 4K mile trip.

Headed up Engineer Pass Fathers Day '09. By the time we reached the top, snow was several inches deep.
 East of Tuscon on my 50cc two years ago. I never got more than a few drops, but the winds were nasty.  On the way home from Daytona. Uh-oh. This...  Turned into this...  Then this. My rainsuit was tucked safely in my garage.

FLEW home on the bike when I saw this coming. It was pitch dark at one in the afternoon. It was SO scary, but it blew over without any wind or rain.
