this weather system in CO just outside of denver... lightning strikes on either side of the highway, and it was raining right after I turned off the camera.. it survived though even on the handelbars!!

either side was kinda green in color too (the clouds, which means tornado possible?? )

it was a cold and wet ride over washington pass in July... got to test out my new rain poncho too
the picture didnt really show the rain, as it was that light sprinkley stuff thats just cold!

I've seen way too many of these! Its amazing how fast a could like that can build, just an hour or two will do it. Plus, in weather like that, there is no wind to disperse the smoke either! Great picture, thanks!

That was the ending of a trip to Hungary. On our way back we met some bad weather.

...

That was coming back from Croatia, in the same place as on the first two pics (norhtern Slovakia). I guess it always rains there (at least each time I'm there it's raining). That time a rain turned into a flood, that not many cars/bikes could pass. The roads were covered with ca. 30cm of mud and stones. The pic has been taken afterwards, as dealing with the flood was too hard to take photos meanwhile.

A happy trip to Croatia in May. Whay a surprise!! Mediterranean spring...
