Oh, I've got a better fog picture then the one I posted

Not a good road to do in these conditions

Oh, and I forgot about the tornado

Before this pic was taken I had never ridden in the snow. It happens all of once or twice a year here at home. The three of us were too dumbfounded looking at all the snow to worry about being cold

Under an overpass somewhere on I-64 in West Virginia. In the headlights you can see where the hail/rain is falling, past the edge of the overpass.

Further down the road a couple hundred miles it hailed hard enough to partly tear the Shoei label off of my helmet.

I must say that my son has exposed a reservoir of love and of worry within me that I never knew existed. --nskitts, 9/2/12

lobster poont, newfoundland

Taken in very cold, pouring rain--- I mean a frog-drowner--- at the Lobster Point lighthouse outside Rocky Harbor in Gros Morne National Park, NFL, Canada. Two hours later, it was beautiful and sunny.

Here's the lighthouse, when the rain wasn't so bad:

And the rain did make the beach cobbles look gorgeous:

The one and only time the weather turned ugly on our european tour in the summer. For the rest of the three weeks it was 40-44 degrees C (whats that, 90-95F?)

Decided to wait it out in a bus shelter in Austria

Road turned to a river in about 5 mins, the car is actually going up the hill!!

Avoca, Quebec, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence river.

The gates to the cemetary where my ancestors are buried. Great, great granpa John was booted from scotland during the highland clearances to make way for the sheep.
