The easy wheelies are the one redeeming aspect of being stuck in one of those chairs. I was in one for ~2 months and was on two wheels damn near the whole time.

I just love wheelies! This thread here won't leave me alone.

Bummer I can't do them. Well I can lift the front wheel a bit on the dirtbike, but that's it. Any advice for a wheelie noob? I have a Suzuki SV650 and a DRZ400 - which is better to start with? The DRZ? I guess dropping the DRZ won't hurt that much.

DRZ. Easiest way to get high "safely" is to roll up to ~18-20 mph in second, then clutch it up. There are youtube videos and articles describing this, but the gist is that you squeeze the clutch for a split second while winding the motor up, then dump the clutch all the way, or mostly, causing the front to climb quickly. Or you can romp it up in 1st, but it will take more throttle control not to end up on your butt.

And now back to the scheduled program, keep those wheelie pics coming.

As a kid I could wheelie a bicycle around the block, but I can't wheelie a motorbike to save my life! Grr.

Torque-y acceleration + "wheelie hill" = this. VICTORY!
