Brewpubs and Microbreweries in PNW
Here's a gpx for you guys in the PNW or those traveling here!
I've put together a few of my favorite stomps that serve great beers, and most serve food, too. Enjoy!

Thanks GSH.
I loaded the waypoints on my gps. I renamed some of them to show the city as the first word to make it quick and easy to see which city they are in. I'd like to find a file with ALL the brew houses in the western US. Would be a fun to go look for as many as possible. |

+1 on those. I'd add EJ Phair for their Fat Quail ale(Concord, CA) I've been wanting to check out Magnolia in the Haight but haven't had a chance yet. Don't forget about the Beerapalooza next month. |

It's Possible
For a small percentage fee.
Based Likely on consumption. That customized tours and guided rides of these and PLENTLY PLENTY more could be arranged... You'd be amazed how fast and I can ride when there is a cold beer dangled out in front of ME!!!!! Get the List Going..... Paige

Man, it'll be a dry ride through Oregon on your way to NoCal! Anyone in Oregon know of any good brewpubs???
I've been to a couple (below) but I don't yet have them in a GPX yet; sorry. As follows: BridgePort Brewing Co. 1313 NW Marshall St. Portland, Oregon (503) 241-3612 McMenamins Edgefield Brewery 2126 SW Halsey Troutdale, Oregon (503) 669-8610 Here's another very helpful link: http://www.beertravelers.com/indexes...bs/oregon.html Happy trails! |

I totally agree with ramjet; a woman that rides and appreciates good beer is a rare yet beautiful thing. +1!
Maybe sf_motogrrl could hold seminars for women and teach them the ways of the beer/ADVrider enthusiast?! The world would be a happier place! GSHighlander screwed with this post 01-15-2007 at 12:22 PM |

Good link on the OR breweries GS.
When I get a little better at finding addresses using mapsource, I'll get my sister to help me do some key punching and expand the gps database for microbreweries. BTW, my sister LOVES to hunt down microbreweries with the guys while riding her Concours. We can always count on her to be carrying the latest edition of Northwest Brew News in her tank bag. Now, if I could just find a gal to likes to ride and appreciates a good beer, that ISN'T my sis. ![]() BTW, sf motogirl, I'll be riding to norcal this summer for the MotoGP in July. As usual, I'll be thirsty. |

My $ .02
Nothing too remarkable in my 'hood. Only place worth a mention is the Viking Tavern -
Forgot to mention a better place in Spokane... Elk Public House , However an hour away is a place that I can't recommend enough… Eichardt's Pub, Grill & Coffee House - I can provide coordinates if someone wants 'em.

Mad River Brewery
The Mad River Brewing Company is near Arcata CA (actually in Blue Lake). It is only a brewery NOT a pub, no driking on the site, but they do sell beer and swag.
I am a big fan of the Jamacian Red Ale

Humbolt Brews actually in Arcata, CA. I haven't been there in years, one site said it was closed but their link still works.

OK, here it is.
Thanks GS Highlander for getting me started. Now I'm on a mission. There is 66 of them. There will be more in the future. It is a little time consuming keying all them in. It's been one of my winter projects. It is a gpx file. Download the file and open it with your mapping software. (I used Garmin's MapSource) With the weather getting better, now it's time to go find them all. That is the fun part. Enjoy all! debueller screwed with this post 04-03-2007 at 06:14 PM |
