This was not as bad as 'he' looked. He was only about 15 meters from a paved road. We helped out and got him on his way.

Just use the cilinder head as a pivot point, it works every time as long as is dry..
Not the lift, the slideshow.

Great images!

40mile...

Because he did not have a Rear wheel...??

I don't get it, i quess..

Oh...
Maybe is the Airflow WindScreen that is pretty much the equivalent of a "Beige
mamyVan" when it comes to offroad riding ability.

In the "Stay the Fuck away" in the scale of trouble warning lingo.

In anyway I believe is the dutty of any fellow rider to provide support to a comrad (yeah even if is a Harley rider) if is not fisical by lifting the bike with him, at least emotional to bring him back into a calm state, specially on desolated areas were help can not be found easylly.

This technic is super simple, notice how I'm varelly ussing any muscle power , is pretty much the only moment that i'm somehow graceful on this constant life of Clumsyness.

Just remenber To use the hill to you advantage, for example if the wheels are way above the bars (hurry because gasoline, engine, tranny and final drive oil plus battery fluid are leaking all ready), will be impossible to lift the bike but if you spin it a 180 deggres so the bars are higher than the bars, the bike will come out in a almost effordless manner.

Same on the flat, trying to get the bike out of a hole, is very dificult to achive do to a million factors Center of Gravity is all mess up, balance of the bike mostlly on the rear wheel, no more traction since the bike is ussally sitting on the bash plate, etc, but if you lean the bike to the side into the cilinder head (those not work if you are a Wuss that needs to keep the bike perfect all the time, but that is not my fault after all)

But if you just make a effort and lean the bike over the rear wheel will be off the hole, then turn the bike ussing the cilinder head as a Pivot point by about 40 deggres away from the hole oviuslly and then you can do a Normal type lift..

If you can not Lift you bike (from flat) at least 5 times in one day, you have no Bussiness riding in the dirt in the first place..

How can it be fun if there's not at least an outside chance of dying?
