Bump!

This thread seems to´ve been dorment for way too long, so here´s one of my mishaps to kickstart this again
To use an overused term: "It seemed like a good idea at the time!" The quality of the photos are appauling, but they´re still funny.

Well, that´s my kidbrother in the back. He obviously didn´t have the same surface-pressure-problem that I did.. I came out of the woods on to a marsh, or bog, whatever it´s called, at almost full throttle in 3rd on my 525sx. And man, that thing just started sinking instantly!
Just pinned it, hoping for the best. Didn´t work. At all. This was -09, my ribs still hurt at times..

Hope this cuts it! Now, let´s see some more - I just know you people´ve been doing equally fun/weird/stupid things these past years!

Cheers / Mix

Yay, more "vintage" Honda riders! Haven't thrown my -92 Transalp into any serious danger yet, but it's undergoing a crashdiet over this winter, so the crash-ratio will increase as we start taking on the trails this summer! I have been tipping over alot with it, but no pics of all those stupid miscalculations though.

Great pics, guys!

Without money to finish it up! As British say slowly but surely

So I thought, "I'll build a shed to keep my bike out of the snow." Bikes parked back in the drive.

Posted this elsewhere but damn fitting here

I somehow managed to cross a thread on my valve stem. (nut went on fine anyway) When I went to replace the tube I was unable to release the nut In my infinite wisdom I figured 'F#©¥ it, I'll just grind the stem off.' In my more infinite wisdom I used my massive, wildly hard to control buzzing wheel of death die grinder instead of the precise, accurate dremel I would have had to drive 2 minutes to retrieve. Halfway through the stem I hear a TING, and something hitting the opposite wall of the garage. I look down to find:
One of these things is not like the other... Hint: the left hole was for a valve stem. The right one...

MOTHER 'F#©¥ER! Anyway my bike sat on my new walmart crutch trail jack (Thanks ADVRider!) for 3 days while the spoke was shipped. It has since been replaced by an offensively shiny new one.

Is there a reason not to take the short-cut over the mountain?
Seemed like a good idea.

Note to self: In January don't venture above 1500 meters.

On the T.W.A.T. Not ten minutes before this pick, the advice was given to avoid the big puddles

Put this in Face Plant already but figured it would be enjoyed here too.

It was a 50 something degree day in January, being it was about 2 degrees just a few days prior I 'spose I should've expected ice still.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYM-2...hMJjdqoQzbnsjw

afterward, now with a broken shift lever, I turned the bike back around downhill (the hill was considerably steeper than it appears in the vid) lo and behold a lot of ice!

btw, how do you embed a video, rather than just the link?
