If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

Ho Chi Minh Trail, Laos. During the wet season. Good fun.

Needed 3 of us to get up this hill

... and a lot more here

That little stretch was about 45 km... and I ended up a tad dehydrated. Kilometre after kilometre of this

Woops by Nophix, on Flickr
Dense, dense fog, came on a clearing with a fogged shield and glasses, visor whitewashed in the sun. By the time I could move to get vision back, road was turning. Low speed lowside. This was a couple hours from hime, and I made it all the way back. Ended a week vacation on day 2, though.

The fog was so bad, I ran 2 stop signs on this county road in the next few miles after the wreck, even at 15mph.

Look, the bike was sleepy and took ANOTHER nap. I'll be posting videos of the DS ADV rally I went on this weekend over the next few weeks.

It didnt look like it was more than a foot deep so I rode in. I quickly found out that the bottom was rather soft

Just found this thread and thought I would contribute....
This was after I unloaded the gear(background) and before I dug it deeper trying to get it out. That is sand under a foot of water.

These Guys came along and winched me out. They had to park right behind the bike, loop the winchline through the rear wheel and lift straight up. The 3000lb winch barely had enough to break the suction. The rear wheels of the side by side were starting to lift off the ground before it let loose.
