Pretty cool story and an awesome bike as well.

Well, different bike, but great story, nonetheless.
Excellent story. There's a guy out here who inherited his dad's /2 (R69?, I forget). Anyway, he totally restored it and is riding it around.

I see the photos of garages and barns full of old bikes or old bikes and the old guy that has owned them for a few decades and I wonder if I'm going to turn into one of those guys, with a nice collection of 80s and 90s bikes.

That's one of Darryl's modern bikes Let see, where did I put that picture.... Ahh here it is. This pic is from June.

I think he's mastered it. He had time to wave at another rider while concentrating on spark, air, fuel, clutch, and hand shifting. It makes me tired just watching him ride that thing.

Hi Curvy, I just realized I met you and your son here in CO. I was on the Waterbuffalo on that cold rainy ride up to Echo Lake. Brrrr!

Awesome post, great pics. I soooo want a Vincent.

Here's my beater. Gonna be replacing the seat, exhaust, and side-cover sometime soon. Please forgive me as it's a '76 and not quite 35 years old. Took the top pic yesterday on Mesa Grande rd.

Hey Curvy I've recognized a couple pictures of yours from Cassoday. I grew up in Reno county also (Haven). Rode my CB out here to San Diego 3-4 years back.
