Sitting at my desk last night as the Harvest Moon was rising. The lighting it gave off on our 1901 Steffey Looked too cool not to share.

Its really a nice restoration. If I had the means I would pay that kind of money for it.
for $225K you could buy a truckload of pretty nice bikes in this market. it's a nice bike but to turn down $180K seems pretty foolish. that was as high a profile auction as you can get. he sits on it he might not even get that next time.

Question How about some motor on the side....???

Does a Circa 1915 Indian Bicycle with a motorized wheel attached count as "old" school.........???

What about the acetylene headlamp.....???

Does a 70's Zundapp with only 6 miles on it fit in here?

The owner, who just lent it to us for our calendar shoot found it some years ago. It wasn't in the crate, but it was still perfect. Must have been serviced and never sold or ridden. He has a pretty cool collection of Zundapp's, including a 50cc that there were only like 8 of in the US and some pretty rare KS 100's.

Here's speedo shot. It's amazing just how nice this bike stayed over the years.
