I was actually complimenting you!
What I meant by "investment owner", are the ones who purchase these bikes merely as financial investments. They don't love these bikes, don't work on them themselves, rarely ride them, or only if it is completely sunny and dry.
If they are not ridden, what use are they? A trophy, or monument to one's ego and bank account? Pathetic.
That's my definition anyway.

there are a whole lot of bikes that are better off left untouched/unridden/unrestored/unmolested. it's only original once.

You are right, a blanket statement doesn't cover all iterations. Common sense applied here is the key.
Unrestored, unmolested, I agree.... too many antique things have had their values stripped from them due to "restoration". .


I was talked into "modernizing/Chopping" a completely original 67 FLH for a customer's son. His answer, when I repeatedly asked him if he was sure; " I have a couple of others just like it at my island home".
