T-BIRD Blues

This this is the last British bike I restored. I went back to old BMW's after that....they have lots less parts. This 1952 T-Bird dragged out to a 3 year project and then it stayed in my workshop another 3 years without ever riding it ...before I sold it on to a fellow who won a lot of trophys showing it at Triumph meet. I am not sure where it is now. If you know, don't tell me unless it still looks this good.

NICE!
Let make sure I read this correctly the bike sat in front of you for 3 years and you never rode it?

It just did not make me feel like Brando, Maybe it was because I was wearig a helmet or because my toes felt like they were on the wrong feet....I guess I feel better on something more modern....when I was done the T- bird seemed to me too fragile. Thats the effect of wanting it to turn out perfect....anyway...I have a few other bikes to ride.....You got to keep those batteries charged and the vital juices flowin..Here is my current Vintage Ride ...more my style...and this old EML rigg is my happening project.

Several things!
Who makes the rims?
Where did you find the earles forks setup?
If that is the sidecar body in the back ground, who makes it?

My oldy:
I want to get another and add a Ural sidecar and other dirt road bits.

EML/ GW Combination

Hello TEX.....
The sidecar, 15"wheels, brakes and Earls Fork were all part of the EML Sport-S kit I bought in 1983. The kit was $4900 back then, (it was worth it) I had picked up the 1977 bike for $1200 a year earlier. see more photos on the unofficial sidecar thread

Time for the 1946 Ride! Temperatures in the low 30's, leftover ice along the
curbs......perfect conditions for a little New York City jaunt!

My brother took his '46 Harley 45" & I rode the '46 Indian Chief:

Those are some sweet rides you and Greg have there. I'm looking forward to seeing the Chief in person tomorrow.
