OK......ok....one for the BM boys......

There were actually many beautiful vintage BMW's present, this example was my fav.

What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! I even got to vote for my
own Chief for the people's choice award!

There is something divinely satisfying about running a crisp-old vintage bike
through the endless monotony of Suburban sprawl; with its endless rows of
deteriorating strip-malls, clumsy chrome-bumper S.U.V. whatevers, and
cellphone addicted shoppers! The Sex Pistols "Pretty Vacant" comes to mind.

Folks peer out of their tinted windows, air-conditioned nightmares, rolling
endlessly forward....perhaps for just a fraction of a moment.....they might
catch a glimpse of something happening off on the shoulder, something from
a different era......indeed, even something .....dare I say it? something REAL. Perhaps tools are being handled out on the dusty verge? What is
going on? Is it legal? Do they have a permit to have so much fun?
If so...............can I do it too?

why.........yes, you can.

Old shit rules. Period.

Girard, you are one smart little devil. Arranging your life to allow you to follow this passion of yours.

Now, if you could just get Greg to quit with the glamorous Bklyn Navy Yard living and work on your bike, all would be well.

Therein lies the rub!

What part of the People's Republic do you hail from? I'm originally from
Manynipples, MN myself.

Cheers!

Hey indianscout!

I just met a friend of yours last night at the Ear Inn, in Manhattan. Kcdakar,
immediately came up to me as I was parking my Chief, and said that a good
buddy of hers had a bunch of Indians! I would have to assume that this
is you? Not to mention, I saw your name on the two-wheel females
site. What a great adventure she is on! If you see her on her sweep
through the Northern states, please say "howdy" from the Ear Inn Indian guy!

Cheers

Wow, small world!!! Yes, this would be me! It's good to know that she is doing well on her adventure and meeting some cool people along the way......and she is just getting started! If all goes well, she may be through here sometime soon and I will definatly tell her you said "howdy". Glad to meet you and will keep you posted if/when she stops by.

She dropped by Tuesday evening on her way through. Stayed an extra day because of bad weather. Left Thursday morning for Montana and then on to Canada. We talked about you and she had nothing but good things to say about you Regbafazool. She told me about meeting you and the night at the Ear, way cool. Hope to meet you on the road one day!
