Did some parts of test standing on the pegs

Scored a 100% (instructor said she'd never given anyone a perfect score before)

The weirdest dual sport you have ever seen, back in 1981 I took my test on the only street legal bike I owned, a 1975 CZ 400 Mx Falta Replica with the ignition and lighting kit from a 1974 CZ 250 enduro that I bought in a crate from Unclaimed Freight.

The 400 did not even have a kickstand, I had to lean it against something (sign post, building etc) when I parked it

What a beast, I will have to try and find pictures of it LOL

Took mine on my scooter a few years ago, since it was the only thing I was riding at the time.

The course was so cold that day that they had to salt it twice just to get it sufficiently thawed to run the tests, and I still locked up the back tire very easily on the quick braking test.

Once my wife and I decide we wanted motorcycles (we kept the scooters for city riding), we both signed up for the MSF Beginner Rider Course, mainly just to get used to the clutch. We both had our motorcycle endorsement, but thought it was a bit silly that you can get fully endorsed on an automatic scooter and then turn around and ride a 1000cc+ super bike. We thought it would be good to get "re-certified" on motorcycles. Anyway, I think the bikes they used were Honda Rebels. That was my wife's first time on a motorcycle, and she passed with flying colors. I managed to ace it.

I drove 3 bikes,
some 125cc (damn, way too small for me, only rode it once)

a 90's Suzuki GS 500, not really made for tall people, too, only drove it once

2009 Honda CBF 600, the only one with ABS, people if you have the choice between two bikes, go with the ABS one (unless you wanna do offroad, of course)
Works well for tall (and not-so-tall) people who want to take a comfy ride on street, this is the bike I took the actual test on by the way, the others were for learning to drive.

FYI: the 2 bigger bikes were restricted to 34 HP

2001 1150 GS. Final Road test in BC, I had ridden a few thousand miles by then on the GS, so had already done the "test drop and pick up"

But they wouldn't let me stand up on the pegs!

I am happy to be here in this country and to know that the sport here is also important because the crowd here know about bikes and the riders, no? So they so much love. So it's important that this sport can grow up in this country... ~ Whorehay Lorenzo
