Pennsylvania Riders check in! - Page 63

I'm up in Wellsboro(hour north on PA15/I99) lots of good riding up here, everything from fire roads, gravel roads, natural gas access roads

and single track!

My dad has a homemade carb sync thinger-ma-bob that he used on his past v-stars. I've never used one(thumpers only) but your more than welcome to stop in. PM me anytime!

hey whats up,

I go through williamsport (on route 15) on my way to gains, not far from Spencer's place.

I prolly be heading up that way friday after turkey day if you need help finding specer's house or just need a place to crash. I have a nice campsite (35' fifth wheel traval trailer) in gaines.

I may even head up this week end, if i'm not too lazy.
I never did a carb sync but wouldn't mind experimenting on someone else's bike before i eff mine up....

Thanks Spencer, I ended up making one myself and I'll hopefully get it figured out this weekend. I did the valve adjustment first and then going tackle the carb sync. I'm also looking into registering my bike here in PA, getting a PA license, insurance and all that jazz.

Anyone want to get together and ride on Sunday? The weather is looking cloudy but it looks like high 50's is possible!

Don't worry Dan, I normally do the same thing! If you'd like to meet up and check out the process let me know! I've got just over 30k on my bike and just did a 10k trip across the US and missed the 24k service stuff (except for oils) so I'm getting caught up now.

It really gets my attention when I pass another bike in conditions that I assume I'm going to be the only rider out. So I thought I would give the thread a bump and send out a "Hi, ya" to the GS I pass from time to time in Warrendale. The last time I saw him it was cold enough to drive all but the most hearty riders into cages.

I was on the black 1100GS in the Fall on 79 with a DeWalt Radio and a tool box strapped to the back when I saw you I waved, you waved back. :)

So you say you seen a rider on a black GS on Rt 79 not once but twice? Sir, on the count of three focus your attention on this red light.

How's that Sir? Is that better? What you thought you saw was only a figment of your imagination. This rider that fits that description is purely a mythical aberration of light and sound.
