Its much easier to do when you have a bike to work off and not have to send it about 1200km just to see if it fits.
Thanks to veetwo tls and Beven

640 adventure rallye bash plate
hi Matt,
are you still doing the 640 adv rallye plates? if so what's the current price for one, and what is the turnaround time? one of the previous replies mentioned he had the carbon tank guards from Chris barnes, i've also got these so the left hand box needs to be a little shorter to clear the guards and fuel tap, have you built any for this set up yet? cheers |

Just thought i should mention, I have one of the KTMATT bashplates for my 640A.
I forgot to loctite the bolts and didn't completely torque them down (my own stupid fault) and the bashplate fell off on the highway at 100km/hr. I ran over it, stopped, raced back and picked it up. Total damage: scratches on the base, and i made the left hand side toolbox slightly out of square. :) Thats it! They're tough! |

Hi DucatiSoc
Your not the only one to do that, RJF did it at the Condo 750 , he ran it over doing about 80-100km hr went back picked it up got some more bolts out of the tool box bolted it back on and kept on racing. Cheers Matt |
