What I find interesting about this sign is that it was obviously designed and laid out to accommodate the misspelling (omitted letter), so the goof must have occurred somewhere further up the chain of command.

Hmm, can't see the picture ?

Here a couple more

The sign means: "Speed limit has yet to be determined for this road."
Stuart Highway 87 north to Darwin NT, Australia. I think I heard that they now have speed limits on all the roads up there.

Recognize the sign ? Rally Australia 2005

I know this one is circulating on the Internet now, but I don't know that it's been posted here yet:

Sign on the road from Palenque to San Cristobal las Casas. This is Zapatitas territory, and this is obvious automatic weapon fire damage. I saw a ¨No maltrate los senales¨, ¨Don´t mistreat the signs¨ sign, that looked like Swiss cheese. Saludos, Eduardo

Definitely not automatic weapon fire. If it was then it would be sprayed instead of careful. You'd have to be slow and deliberate to make that pattern.

Uh ah, too straight of lines of impact, and too evenly spaced. These people don´t have a bench rest, just a full clip and nothing else to shoot at! Try it yourself and send a photo of the results with a semi-auto. Saludos, Eduardo
