Wow... adventurers, the lot of ya.

Couple of my own pix... I was [well kinda] thinking I'd rather have been on my bike since some of the blind sections felt about 1.5 car widths wide (2-way road).

Any of you guys get to hike the knife-edge "Angel's Landing" trail at Zion? Now that was the most terrifying thing I've ever done (voluntarily at least).

CLICKY.

I've been there and would have done that but I'm nowhere near fit enough to think I could make it without some kind of medical/rescue assistance so I stayed down at the bottom and stuck to the more "genteel" trails.

I did do some really cool but still extremely taxing trails at Bryce Canyon, and more than a couple of breathtaking hikes at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I also drove Hell's Backbone up near Boulder UT ... "interesting" road with some pretty spectacular views, especially from the one lane bridge with pretty much nothing on either side but a 1000' drop :)

Peru or Mexico?

I didn't know you could travel to Peru or Mexico via US 24 in Indiana.

Angels Landing is not that strenuous or technically difficult... is more of a psychological fear-of-heights thing. There was a 4-5 month pregnant woman in front of me, a 80 y.o. couple at the summit, a 300 lbs woman that turned around at the scary knife-edge section (she made it 75% of the elevation), and while I was climbing on all fours (from fear), a guy was hopping down rock-to-rock..... in flip flops!

Took a ride last weekend to Desoto National Forest (South Mississippi).
Found these at the entrance of the Bethel Multi-Use Trail Head.

Aptly named. Starts out as a double track sand trail, narrows to single track sand, crosses a brook and goes to a dirt deer path for miles till it ends in the middle of the forest.

In Idaho at the end of following St. Joe's river west to east in Idaho...what a great road. Elevation is around 5000' and 16 miles of logging road awaits.
