Rick, I never thought to ask you when I was there: Are you on Borden Lake?

Yes, I am on the very south end of Borden L,

I'm in Sudbury today and will be back home tomorrow. Let me know if you will be stopping by so I can stock up on beer.

Don't worry about the beer, Rick (well you can get some for you) I'm just getting over some kinda nasty illness, and can't drink right now. (but thanks, muchly appreciated)

I'll let you know, it's all about weather and timing.

Dumped my BMW

Don't know if anyone's interested but I traded my 07 650GS Dakar at Wildwood last month. It only has 1100km on it and lots of farkles. Just didn't use it enough (or like it enough?) so I traded it for a 4 wheeler. Took a major bath! Still have my R100GS so I'm good to go.

I saw your bike at Wildwood it seems in excellent shape. I'm certain it will go to a good home.

It was standing next to my new F800GS...sweet looking bike... If I had a million dollars (isn't that a song ?) I would take it.... smart looking unit.

I love the looks of that 800. I'm going to have to try one of those. When I saw one at Wildwood I almost went to that instead of a 4-wheeler. Completely forgot why I was getting rid of the 650 in the first place. Lust for toys is a killer and damn hard on the pocket book!
Now I've got the starter out of my R100GS. I'm going to change the seat do the carbs, shocks, you name it. It is a great old bike though....

Hey NoFate, I'll try to catch you for coffee sometime tomorrow(Sunday) if you are around.

If you aren't, it isn't much of a detour to see if you are home.

I'm just outside of White River tonight, at Glorias Motel.

Had a nice early dinner with Old Fart at Play, at the Madhouse in Thunder Bay. Didn't see NorthRider around though. :(

Maybe I'll cath him on Wednesday.

Guess It's coffee with Nofate tomorrow!

I'm sitting in a hotel room in beautiful downtown Sudbury tonight.

Coming in from HWY 144, it still looks like a moonscape, even after all these years.

After cursing my GPS for putting my hotel in the wrong place, I discovered
it was right, and I was wrong.

Travelway, not Travel Lodge, dummy!

I'm gonna have to go back and ride the Sultan/Ramsey Road, it looks like fun!

I had a good visit with Nofate, coffee, and some kind of Finnish coffee bread I can't pronounce. (it was really good)
