Took the old DR650 out for the first ride of 2013 today. Not much of a ride - went to Metropolitan Moose for a cup of tea, then to the lookout 6 km west of Kakabeka ( near Mokomon Rd), then home to Murillo. The temp was okay but 60 km/h winds made it somewhat unpleasant, and led to some drifting snow across Oliver road. But it still felt good to be out riding.

I walked out to the garage and put the new insurance slips on all the bikes. Far enough for me.

With all the bikes you have, in Manitoba you would have needed to take out a second mortgage to pay for it.

Riding yesterday, shovelling the hockey rink at Pass Lake today....that wicked wind created perfect igloo-building snow. Hekto, we're waiting for a photo of a KLR or Sherpa parked in front of an igloo!

Way to go on getting out riding. I went out for some ADV skidoo-ing today......

3 skidoos 3 riders me ,my bro , and my 84 year old Dad.

The great North country....

some slushy conditions.....not too deep though

approaching the technical bridge section.....

careful balance.....

breaking trail up the creek system.....

a few punch out spots

stopping to check something out......
