I'll be flying to Hamilton on Feb 7th, operation on Feb 8th.

the temperatures at the mine usually don't affect me very much, 90% of my work is indoors or underground.

I don't expect to be back there until so-called "spring", which means it will only be -20

With luck it will warm up a bit and there'll be no more problems
Lived one summer in Pickle Crow many years ago as a kid. My dad was a teacher, worked the assay office summers to pick up some extra dough. I thought it was a great place. Nice change from Favourable Lake and McKenzie Island

CanuckAME, you should've had one of those heat hose going to your jacket! I'm jealous you get all these paid for trips to such great places...stay warm!

Ron, good luck with your operation. You'll do fine and be back up and around in no time!

BackRoader...there better not be any free chocolate chip cookies there or I'll be pissed that I missed out

Hey Ron, good to hear you got your date in Hamilton... Lots of recovery time, you should be good for a spring ride.

It's totally safe. Nothing but friendly people willing to go out of their way to help you find/ do what is needed.
Food, riding, scenery is beyond what you could imagine. Reading RR's and looking at the photos is one thing, but actually being "in it" is amazing.
Today we met Gene & Neda of Lightcycle
Www.RideDOT.com
They have a RR going on ADV

It's sunny and warm .......again!

There was some quiet protest & demonstrations going on today. The policia presence kept it that way.

Your Moab stuff helped stave off cabin fever at the end of riding season. I'll try to keep the fever at bay for you's

Living the dream Hekto.

Also been following Gene and Neda's ride report from the beginning. They seem to be having a similar Mexico experience. Safe and fun.

Ride today, ditch banging up to a pit for a ride. More snow in the pits than I thought, so it was a decent ride!

Great videos Rob. Makes me think that maybe winter really isn't that bad . What software are you using to edit them?
