My back went out again....so instead the traditional holistic way mending with physio and chants and charms and shit, I went all out and some new kind of pain killer.... wow, now I just have to remeber that I still can't jump Ouiment Canyon.

Ron, I will PM you with details on arrival Thursday evening.

Sure looking forward to this!!!

Hektoglider where did you take that picture of Pie Island from?
Took the photo from Mt McKay during last years IBSR. I was hoping to ride through the tunnel and then take the backroads. Silver Falls road-past One Island- Hawkeye etc onwards 527 to Escape Lake Road(backway to Ouimet) Then to Sleeping Giant, where I think Ron was gonna guide us across some high rail trestle if I recall.......I saw the pic somewhere. On the way back from Silver Islet into Tbay we could stop at Amethyst Harbour and maybe the beach area we were at last time......also Terry Fox lookout etc. Roughly same as last year except opposite way...no?

Gentleman where do you plan to be on Saturday, I may have just freed up a couple days to join up. The strom will be O.K for the light off road and hard top.

What have you got for your back tire there Ron? Looks pretty aggressive.

Nice here today as well, but forecast for NW ON looks like rain . . .

Metzeler Karoo...

...debating about leaving the camping gear at home, and just do hotels...cool and wet is ok, if you have a hot shower, and a warm bed at the end of the day!

All in favour??

Whatever, I don't care - but should be decided soon as I'm trying to figure packing today as I'm missing a tank bag I'll pick up in wpg and would pack a second bag for rider from Carmen.

Hotels are cheap and plenty of them this time of year...I just need some votes from you guys. Overnight temps aren't that great.

on votes (I'll go with what everyone else says, but if I have to cast a vote I would say no camping, unless that then precludes riding into more secluded areas and changes the route significantly)

Leaving first thing tomorrow morning . . .

I wouldn't mind at least one night of camping as long as theres beer and fire
I'm good with whatever happens though, i have all my gear packed up but can easily take some out if needed.

Well, I have to pack now while my babies sleep - so I'm taking camping gear. I can always leave at ZZRs if not needed to travel lighter from there . . .
