Tin Bags

I have only seen the big aluminum bags on the "Interstate Riders". As Ron suggested some are too big and probabaly will be cumbersome if you do a lot of "off roading" . I recall riding a Honda trike, you put your foot down and you end up running over your leg. Ouch. I am sure it's not that bad !

Did we ever get nailed with rain yesterday Over 4 inches in T Bay and over 5 inches down towards Whitefish Lake. Lots of major washouts and closed roads. On a positive note no road dust.

Kakabeka Falls is incredible

The sun is shining again today

Wow!! Great Pics. I`m hoping to get out tomorrow. Monday I`ve got a run down to Pembina ND to pick up all the gear I got from KLR650.com
I can`t wait to get it all on my bike. I think I`m going ahead with that rear shock and the hard bags.

Those were taken yesterday around 16:00. The Neebing river at the airport looks to be peaking today so I imagine Kakabeka is still looking incredible. You could feel the ground trembling out there yesterday.

Wish I had time to go in there...if I remember correctly, you pretty well need a boat, though.

Split Rock

Your are correct, Slpit Rock is only accessable by water...... until the price of gas settles down a little, I won't be towing my boat 500 miles to see it again.
