[quote=turbonotch]Long story short... I have 400 good pics from a 10k mile cross-country ride that week did this summer. NO superslab... 10k miles of twolane, gravel and tar, and dirt - hardly took an offramp the entire trip. I am SLOWLY working my way through them and I'll post the report in the COLD winter months.
While going through them I noticed alot of pics that show misuse and blantant ABUSE of our street bikes. I'm was sure I was not the only one. "Ruffus" proved that I'm not in another thread: [quote] WooHoo thanx for posting that pic, all this time I thought I was the only foolish one I remember that day well, heat wave dried a crust on top of a quagmire, it looked fine till i sunk, 2 hours with a locals shovel, then riding along the dirt road but in the woods cuz it was dry there. 4 hour ride up north, get stuck, dig out, take picture of camper for insurance (original reason for road trip) go to car wash, 4 hour ride home. Man was I whipped at the end of the day
