Regarding backrests for the NH, my friend says he bought it on ebay for $150. He has seen them from $100 on up but they are rusty at $100.00.

Just got a new DID chain. Anybody know what the mileage is for adjusting it for the first time?

No way to tell by miles....check it before every ride,but don't tighten it till it's really loose.
Looser will last longer than tighter,but does lead to sloppy shifts.
Lube at the end of a ride,while the chain is still hot.

I will post photos when I get some. She ain't perfect. The bikini fairing is cracked like most of them, there is a corner broken off of one of the cooling fins and a small hole in one of the pipes. Still sexy, like a stripper with a chipped tooth.

I'm in the Hammer as well Kurgan. Know anyone who might be interested in an 84 450 nighthawk?

Small world. We should hook up for a ride once you get your new wheels ready. Can't say I can help you with the 450, but if you put it up on Kijiji it will go. Did you find your NH750 on Kijiji? I've seen a few listed.

It is indeed a small world. Yup, I bought it off Kijiji which is where I bought the 450 from as well. The 450 is on there, had a few bites, we'll see. I missed out on a Black and Blue 750s in Burlington last month which had more k's and cost more, but I'm not complaining about what I spent.

I think I know the blue NH750S you are referring to. That thing was MINT! I was going to look at it myself, not that I need another!

That thing was nice! Hemmed and hawed and ended up getting it bought out from under me. When this one showed up in town, I jumped on it.
