Well I was feeling bad because I can't make that weekend. But the raving about Pabst tells me I'm probably better off. Growing up the only thing lower on the totem pole was Old Milwaukee. Just kidding, sort of. Have fun! JT

so when I come in the fall, I'll DEFINITELY bring my own beer.

I'm a beer purist. I only drink the good stuff or i drink water. I can admit it. It's something I work on as I grow older. (work on improving that is )

I'll drink a PBR with ya though Booj! (but only one and I may pour most of it out while you're not looking)

Watch out Datchew, those PBR's are like Lays Potato chips, can't have just one. Can't wait for this little get together.

How about something more mainstream for the Keg and a couple o' cases of the PBR and Miller High Life?

Hell, We have some "Reasearch Time" so let's get busy! Let's find a Nice Ale or something of a Micro Brew nature, for the Keg. I'm just F-ing with you guys about a BUNCH of PBR! a Few cases will do for us Ribbon Drinkers!

Let me know what kind of beer for the keg. The wife is bringing up some of her French Vodka Strawberry Schnapps(homemade Quebec style) about 2 gallons. 2 glasses of this and you wont have to worry if it's cold out or not. Come to think of it you wont worry about anything. Kix I got you covered on the HIGH life.

we'll be hard pressed for good kegs in wilkes county... but, there's a really good beer/wine place up in boone (less than 1/2 hr from the campground) called peabody's which has an extensive selection of beer... also the tin can, but i'm not sure if the tin can sells kegs. i'll cast my vote for something local... cottonwood or duckrabbit. of course, the warmer it is outside, the better pabst is.

i just realized that the weekend of the 27-29th is the same weekend as MerleFest... the annual bluegrass festival that brings people from all over the country to wilkes county. gonna be a lot of people in/around the county that weekend. festival grounds are about 20 miles from the motorcycle camp.

Hummmmmm, MerleFest, aye? I wonder IF they do "Day Tickets" for that festival? I think I know a few ADV Riders from WVa, and Ohio coming down for that festival. 20 miles away, huh?
