See the scratches on the top of this one. It took a direct hit when my GS flipped. The cradle and ram mount were toast, but the GPS itself fired right back up. I wouldn't claim that they can all do that, but I was worried it was destroyed when I first picked it up off the asphalt.

That is a good deal. I think I gave something like $365 from COSTCO for mine and that was the best price going at the time.

Ah, I see this morning you bought it. Good job. When you get it go to Wal-Mart in the eletronics section and buy a pack of that clear film that they sell for cameras and phones to protect the touch screen. Only a few bucks and will keep it from getting scratched.

I am skeered to go outside and see what we have here in the valley. Persimmon is usually quite a bit cooler than Clayton. I guess Clayton is an urban heat island.

It tends to be a little warmer here around the lake... but I'm not going out to check.

It was 16 here this morning. The DR took a while to warm up.

Forgot to lower the thermostat at the house in Dalton when we left for the cabin Friday. When I got home yesterday of course the heat pump was running on auxiliary heat strips and the power meter was spinning like a top.

You guys were talking books, and got me searching around. Then yesterday I was poking around Wally world and checked out some of the e book readers.
Does anyone use these things, my eyesight varies greatly from one to the other (Due to an injury) and I find it hard to focus on a printed page.

Hey Y'all,
I just installed one downstairs in my house. The fireplace upstairs only helps a small area. It works great, hardly any furnace time since I bought it but..............now I'm in the firewood business, like it or not !!!
Good Luck !

I've never tried one. Lynne is a far more avid reader than me so I asked her if she would like one for Christmas and she didn't seem the least bit interested.

Might be pretty cool though for us old guys if you can increase/decrease the font sizes, brightness, contrast, etc.

Thanks Mitch
That's my thoughts. My concern is book availability, guess I'll need to do some research.
