Let's rethink the Pine Mountain. How about Moto Mountain? It will have snow, but they are open and on a closed 76 miles of trails. At least we can do loops and have some fun.

Moto will also be in better condition as the weather did not hit it as hard.

As much as I love HP, I would not recommend them this weekend, unless you really want a soupy muddy mess. Paul said they still had a couple inches of snow on the ground that would probably melt over the next 2 days. Between that and the ground thawing, things will just be soupy as can be and that place is not easy in the mud.

Never been to MotoMotn

The place to hit in this type of weather is "The Ridge" in AL. Its pretty sandy based and really has some good traction, even when its wet. It had lots of good trails both double and single track. It would even be fun on DS bikes.

Hey The Ridge is on Pine Mountain Road, maybe that where all this Pine mountain riding crap is coming from!!

I'm open to anywhere. However I may have to rethink the single track portion if I end up taking the Big Gurl!!

If considering dirt parks, Durhamtown looks to be the furthest south when compared to Moto Mountain, HP and The Ridge.

Pine mountain really came up as a starting point for some ds riding in s,central ga. Crafty has been down that way on a couple of differet rides. So the motivation is a little warmer weather And some different scenery for a change.
Im up for exploring sunday if you guys want to go.

We are Moto Mountain Sunday all day
Weather looks promising, they have plenty of different level trails, great trails for DS bikes and lots of optional technical parts.
This way we can have fun and optionaly bypass any extreme mud or obstacles

I will be getting dirty on this one....

moto mountain is great but it will be muddy and has a lot of steep areas trail d and e are awesome!!! and the other stuff is fun and you can get some speed up on them but to think they did not get much snow is crazy
they are just west of jasper and it will be steep and muddy!! enjoy and have fun you can get discounts to one of the strip clubs in cobb in the store!! The owner of moto mountain also owns the strip joint I just can not remember which on!!!

MM is 25 miles East of me.
I was in Fairmoint today & there was still a lot of snow melting away
