But the old tv only has Coax connection

Can you buy an adaptor that goes from HDMI to Coax ??

I know Coax & RCA jacks, but all this new fangled TV & Computer mess is over this old boys head

I'm a little late to this party but, I dont think you can go from coax to hdmi, at least not well. HDMI has to go through a handshake to make work, thats why you have a slight pause when starting a hdmi connection. Most Dtv's also have rca that you can use, then you can find a coax to rca.
Check out http://www.monoprice.com/ I buy all my cables here plus wall mounts, all at a fraction of the local stores.
Did you get a lcd, led, or plasma? I'm a tv junkie

CHOMP da Dog Ride to Eat

Tomorrow, November 17, 2012 will be the second annual all brands no rules Chomp da Dogs RTE at Nu-Way Weiners on Cotton Ave in Macon. Tire kicking about 10 and eatin at your leisure.

Who knew back in 1916, when James Mallis opened the first Nu-Way Weiner stand on Cotton Avenue in Macon, Georgia, that he had created a chili dog that would become an eating
obsession?

http://m.nu-wayweiners.com/

Put on your long johns, plug in your Gerbings, and come on out and enjoy some good riding and meet some new friends. This is NOT a B2B ride I promise you. Last year's inagural event drew the 2011 Iron Butt Rally winner from Minnesota and another rider from way up in New England.

Instigator and poop stirrer in charge,
Magnum1b. aka Jack Ferguson

^ Well, if I wasn't going to Atlanta tomorrow to sell my bike, I'd be there. I've patronized that establishment many times over the years.

I think ABUCK99 and I are gonna explore the Cohuttas tomorrow. I'll be on the 950, I think he is planning on riding the 690. Will be aiming for as much dirt as we can dig up. (get it... dirt... dig up....)

I'm likely heading out for a little riding later today if anyone wants to go grab lunch or something.

Lunch? Where? When? The Tiger needs a little time out of the cage...

Liking it a lot...no issues with it in the year and a half that I've owned it and it has performed beyond my expectations. If I were limited to only owning one bike, it would probably be the Tiger...luckily, I'm not!

Cheers,

Hey Tom! I'm loose on plans. I was thinking about going down to bug Andrew at Acme, maybe grab something down that way. Or heading up to Riders Hill and seeing whats going on there. I've got a few hours to kill. Might leave here around 11:30/12...

I was thinking of heading down to Andrew's place as well and maybe down to CycleGear...looking for some new turn-signals for the DRz...busted one on CO and might as well replace them all. Don't recall if Andrew carries them or not. Also need to get some new "tars" for the DRz, so a run to Rider's Hill is not a bad idea either...see what they have in stock.

Maybe some decisive type will raise their hand!

11:30 sounds good, either direction

Andrew carries tires, and just invested in a killer tire mounting machine too. He's got a good stock of Moto-Z (I'm sure Brown Dog will be chiming in any minute on Moto-Z lol) and others.

Whereabouts roughly do you live in town? I can never remember. I am on the north side of town on 9. Where's a good place to meet? We could meet in town on 9 and chop our way down to Slopes BBQ on 9 and grab a to go order and bring Andrew some grub.
