Just ran across Grad's ride report and thought I would post it up here in case anyone else has missed it. Looks like he is having a great trip.

New to GA

This is probably the wrong place to introduce myself, but screw it...here goes.

New to GA, at Fort Stewart for the next few years. On my second KLR650, will be on my third by the end of the weekend after a trip to Blairsville. Also have a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1600. Past scoots include Honda CX500, Kawi ZR7s (the fast red one), KLR650 (slow teal and white one), 2000 KLR650 (faded OD green one/current), SV1000S (the silver one with the front wheel in the air), RIVA Razz 80 (could do 45 on a downhill), Vulan EX500 (Ace Hardware loved me).

Technically, the two Fiero's I owned were almost like riding a motorcycle...they just weighed less and had smaller engines (the cars that is).

As for KLR number 3, I am heading up to Blairsville tomorrow to trade the 2000 for a 2007 with 4000 miles on it (black and silver). I never put enough dirt miles on my previous KLR's and I'm hoping to change that in the near future with KLR #3. Been riding KLR #2 on the tank trails off 144, but with street tires, it's weak at best.

Anyone else in the Fort Stewart/Hinesville area?

Scott
