Stayed at a B&B in Ypres Belgium last week.
Rooms are really nice but not on suite. The house is in a very quiet area just 5 minutes walk from the Menin Gate. I had a double room to myself for just 30 euros. Shared twin room for 50 euros. Call Elma on 0032 (0) 57 20 84 00 |

Black Forest
Germany, Muenchweier, Black Forest
Metzgereigasthof Rebstock, http://www.rebstock-muenchweier.de/ Singleroom 48E with breakfast, prices drop the more nights you book, check website. Rolled in here last summer in the early evening and all rooms in town were full including theirs, but after speaking with the owner and telling him my girlfriend could not go another kilometer without me suffering some brutality he made us a room out of a room that wasn't quite finished. We ended up with a big room, balcony and breakfast for 30E. We gave him a good tip on the way out. Secure gated parking with carport. Very motorcycle friendly, quaint, picturesque town, quiet, with tables out front so you can enjoy a good bier and watch the bikes roll by. On site very good restaurant and butcher. Plus you get your pic taken and put on his website (that's my girlfriend and me on the gray F800ST with topcase and tankbag flipping the peace sign). |

Las Legas
in Speilfeld on the Austrian/Slovenian border.
http://www.las-legas.at/html/english.html Was there last night, very hospitable. Run by Werner and his partner Annie, damned good food, flowing beer, good coffee and a bunk room (they also have a camp site out back) to crash out in. It's kinda small so if you're thinking of heading down there I'd email them first. Met some cool guys, some that spoke English, some that didn't but it was no sweat. Bloody easy to find as well :) enter Spielfeld, head for the border and you'll see it on the right hand side from 500m from the border.

Accommodation-Kas, Turkey
Anybody travelling through Kas on the Turkish Med is welcome to stop at our place. We are not a business and don't charge for overnight stays though a contribution towards your food and booze would not be refused. We can offer secure parking, hot showers, a comfortable bed and Juliet is an excellent cook. You should be dog friendly though as we have seven of the blighters, six of which were rescued from fairly miserable lives. Further info regarding the area can be found here

Somewhere to go on a Monday night
For all you guy's that are at a loose end on a Monday night, the Red Lion at Madley, Herefordshire, HR9 7BU welcomes bikers from far and wide. At present food is not served on a Monday, but things could change very quickly if the demand is there. They serve good beer (Not that you guy's will be drinking much) or plenty of alternatives if required. Or if there is a club in the area that would like to make the Red Lion their head quarters, they have a very nice room adjacent to the car park. So, why not try it, it's somewhere to go. Just mention my name Alan Spencer, that will guarantee to get you slung out (Only joking guy's)

Mid Wales - brilliant riding!
Mid Wales is a brilliant area for all types of riding - tarmac, gravel and technical trail riding. Local clubs hold quite a few trail bike rallies with classes for big trailies, KTM 990s, BMWs etc.
We are near Llanidloes and have an annexe which is an ideal base. It sleeps 5 and can be self catering or meals supplied. I know of plenty of other b and bs and self catering in the Machynlleth, Dolgellau, Llanidloes and Devils Bridge areas. |

Hostel in Cesky Krumluv, Czech Republic
Just spent 3 nights at Krumluv House Hostel. Bed in shared 6-bed dorm was 250 CK (approx 10 Euro) per night - slightly more in Summer. Private rooms also available. Showers, laundry, kitchen and 5 minutes walk to town square. Very comfortable and friendly. They have three parking spots - usually not used as most visitors come by bus.
